Papa Razzi Trattoria, located at 768 Elm Street in Concord, will officially close at the end of the restaurant's lease on July 31, according to a statement from Newport Restaurant Group (NRG).
"This restaurant has been a beloved part of the Concord community for decades and a successful piece of our restaurant portfolio since 2012 when we purchased the Papa Razzi group of restaurants," Paul O'Reilly, president and CEO of NRG said in the statement.
"We are saddened to close its doors and will work to relocate our valued employee-owners to other nearby existing and soon-to-open Newport Restaurant Group restaurants in the coming months," he continued. "We appreciate the loyalty and patronage of the Concord community.”
The restaurant employs around 60 full-time and part-time employees, Concord Bridge reports.
After the Concord location closes, the only surviving Papa Razzi will be in Wellesley. The chain had previous locations in Boston, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, and Framingham, Boston Restaurant Talk reports.
